The Shrimpers’ Essex Senior Cup tie with Hashtag United has been set for Tuesday 26th November.
Hashtag groundshare with Aveley FC so the game will take place at their Parkside ground, kick-off 7.45pm.
The match will be HPFC’s first last-16 tie in the competition in 25 years, their previous outing at this stage coming in 1999/2000 when they lost 1-0 at home to Barking.

This time around they will face a side who play three levels above them – Hashtag are members of the Isthmian League Premier Division, which is at Step 3 of the non-league pyramid.
However, the Shrimpers – now up to second in the Thurlow Nunn League’s First Division North following Saturday’s 6-0 victory over Leiston U23s - have already proved they are capable of covering such a gap, having defeated Bowers and Pitsea 2-1 in the third round earlier this month.
Like Bowers, Hashtag sit in the lower reaches of the table – following the weekend’s results, they were in 18th place, just outside the relegation zone and one spot higher than Bowers.
The two clubs last met in December 2018 when goals from twins Ryan and Jordan Heath gave the Shrimpers a famous 2-1 Thurlow Nunn League win on the Oak. Jordan is pictured celebrating what turned out to be the winning goal.
Despite that setback, Hashtag – founded by YouTuber Spencer Owen - went to be crowned champions of Division One South that season and two more promotions since have taken them to Step 3.
Admission prices for the tie have been announced by Hashtag. They are as follows:
